Head of Stock and Employment Manpower of Dumai Soufandi Souhan said, Indonesia Manpower team went down to Dumai based on the instruction from the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration. They were also accompanied by the Manpower of Riau Province, and they come to the company that is located ini Lubuk Gaung Sei Sembilan, Dumai.

"We together with the team from the central government and provincial inspect all documents of foreign workers working in three subsidiary Sinar Mas," said Soufandi, Friday (29/04/2016).

He said the team that conducted their tasks on Thursday (28/04/2016) around 12:15 pm until 19:00 pm request the management of PT Bangun Sarana Paramitha (PBS), PT Energi Mas Sejahtera (ESM) and PT Ivo Mas to collect all foreign workers from Tiongkok.

The suddenly inspection of team Directorate General of Supervisory and Placement of Employment from Manpower Ministry of RI noted number of foreign workers in three companies were 279 people, including 135 in PBS, 50 in ESM and 106 in PT Ivo Mas.

"Our conclusion, it was not right that there are illegal foreign workers because we have already checked all the documents, but the placement of works in three different areas will be important note for the team to be addressed further," he said.

Previously, PT PBS was protested by Alliance of Dumai Sovereign Society because the company employs hundreds of suspected illegal foreign workers, and some of them even the runaway prisoner from Tiongkok.

Demonstrators were asking for the deportation of illegal foreign workers and the works should be terminated for their ignorance towards the local community and local government since the foreigners is not the expertise. (RB/iwan)
